Body Sculpting

Body sculpting is a non-surgical body contouring technique. Using either Ultrasound Fat Cavitation, Radio Frequency Skin Tightening, Vacuum Cavitation or a combination, we treat the body and face.

What is Body Sculpting?

The Fat Cavitation technology uses low frequency ultrasound to target stubborn pockets of fat. The vibrations penetrate through the skin and tissues to the fat cells. The Fat cell membranes are subjected to a powerful wave of pressure, traumatising and causing them to liquify and break down. The broken down fat is then processed through the bodies lymphatic system where they are naturally metabolised by the body. This treatment is for the body only, we do not treat perform fat cavitation on the face or neck areas.

Radio Frequency Skin Tightening uses radio frequency energy to heat the deep layer of your skin called the dermis. This heat works to promote the natural production of new collagen proteins and reduce skin elasticity. It helps boost skin oxygenation and detoxification whilst also tightening and toning the area. This treatment is popular for postpartum tummy tightening and helps to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, and ageing for a non-surgical face lift! RF also helps to decrease the appearance of cellulite and feels just like a hot stone massage.

Vacuum cavitation is a great treatment either on its own or added to a thigh fat cavitation session for the ultimate sculpting! This treatment involves strong pressure applied via a vacuum-like headpiece to greatly reduce the appearance of cellulite, remove excess fluid from the legs, and further breakdown fatty deposits by massaging and assisting liquified fat in the direction of the lymph nodes to aid in drainage.

What post treatment care do I need to follow?

20 minutes of hot and sweaty exercise directly after your treatment is necessary for the body to utilise triglycerides released. A low carb/sugar/fat diet is necessary alongside this and best to not drink alcohol for at least the first 24 hours. The best results are seen after 72 hours of your treatment during the lymphatic drainage process. Drinking 2-3 litres of water each day is also a must.

For most people it is perfectly safe, but there is a small select group that cannot receive the above treatments: Women who are pregnant/breastfeeding, those that suffer cardiac and liver diseases, diabetics, pacemaker carriers, or those with an acute illness. Fat cavitation is also not recommended for those on acne medication such as roaccutane. Please contact us prior to booking for more information if you feel you may not be suitable.

Are these treatments suitable
for everyone?

Is it painful & is there any
downtime?

How many sessions will it take to
achieve my desired result &
are they permanent?

The recommended number of sessions is 6-10 but this can be less or more, depending on the individual. Following correct post treatment care instructions will help ensure your results are fast and long lasting. Results are permanent as long as your lifestyle and BMI does not change. We recommend 7 days between each session.

Not at all! It is pain free and can be done in your lunch break. Some will experience mild redness that fades within the hour due to the heating element. We encourage those to drink plenty of water to help detoxify faster.

Should teeth whitening be done
by a Dentist?

Teeth whitening is purely cosmetic and non dental. The products we use are gentler than and just as effective as those used by the dentist. All our products are Australian compliant and produced to the highest standards. Teeth whitening, no matter who does it bleaches stains from the surface of the teeth it does not whiten enamel.

This depends on each individual and the extent of discoloration, generally from 5-14 shades lighter can be achieved. The more stained your teeth, the more dramatic the result will be. Teeth whitening whether done by a dentist or another technician will not whiten your tooth enamel; the process will bleach the stains on the surface of your teeth. The results are also relevant to how regularly you have a teeth whitening procedure or use home whitening treatments. Where whitening is done every 6-12 months it is considered a maintenance procedure and results will be less dramatic.

Is teeth whitening suitable
for everyone?

Teeth whitening is a treatment most people want and can have, however, it is not recommended for children under 16 years of age or for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not have a teeth whitening treatment if you have gum disease or are requiring dental work.

How long will a teeth whitening
treatment last?

Teeth will maintain their fresh new appearance for around one year. Re-staining depends largely on diet and lifestyle. Smoking, coffee, tea, fruit juice, sodas all staining foods and beverages will eventually re-stain the surface of your teeth.

Is teeth whitening safe?

We offer the latest whitening gel approved for use in Australia. We have a hygienic non-touch procedure at NO time will a technician touch you or your mouth. Our gel is gentle and safe, problems are extremely rare. Teeth Whitening is safe for crowns and veneers although these will not lighten as much as natural teeth.

The White Diet

After a teeth whitening treatment, the pores of your enamel are open and this makes them extra vulnerable to any stains which can reverse a lot of the whitening benefit from your treatment. Follow the White Diet for 24-48 hours after a teeth whitening treatment. Once the pores close, which usually happens within 24-48 hours after the procedure, you can resume your normal habits. An easy rule to remember is anything that would stain white fabric; Avoid it!

Remember though, the more staining foods in your diet the faster you will re-stain your teeth. Taking care with what you eat will keep your smile whiter for longer.

For long lasting results, be sure to follow The White Diet after every teeth whitening treatment including after use of a home touch up kit.

You may have a follow up treatment in 4 months if you desire. Keep in mind the more regularly you have a teeth whitening treatment the smaller the results of the treatment will be as there are not as many stains to bleach.

LED Light Therapy

LED light therapy harnesses the power of light to energise cells and stimulate the skin’s natural healing processes and helping to reduce inflammation. It helps significantly improve cell metabolism, allowing skin cells to repair and regenerate at a much higher rate than normal.

Photon energy stimulates the skin’s fibroblasts to increase production of collagen and elastin, helping fill wrinkles and reduce sagging. In addition, it boosts supply of oxygen and nutrients to skin cells, enabling natural antioxidants to fight off free radicals and reduce inflammation.

It is also helpful in getting rid of acne scars and has been proven to be beneficial in cases where acne is caused by a chronic skin condition.

830nm near infrared light on the other hand offers the deepest penetration into tissue. It reaches deep below the skin into the tissue, bone, joints, and organs, thus allowing for effective treatment of deep injuries and even stimulates brain health. It also promotes collagen and elastin synthesis and is known for its anti-ageing and wound healing effects. Thus, it is routinely used as a post-procedure addition to other therapies.

The process begins when photons of a specific wavelength are emitted from an LED light therapy machine and penetrate into the skin. This gets absorbed by receptors in the cells causing excitation of an electron and initiating a signaling cascade.

This process improves cellular performance and encourages the body to produce more collagen, fibroblasts, and elastin. These naturally found structural proteins and cells have an important role in keeping the skin looking young and fresh. The increased production of these compounds reduces the thinning of the skin and slows down the appearance of wrinkles.
LED light therapy is great as both a standalone and combination treatment.

Not only is phototherapy useful for speeding up the healing process post-procedure, but it can also be used pre-treatment to supercharge your client’s skin cells to enhance their results and minimise risk of adverse responses from other procedures.

This treatment offers long lasting results, promotes healthy looking skin, accelerates cell renewal, and resolves a range of skin concerns, including:

Acne
Rosaecea
Fine Lines
Signs of Ageing
Dull Complexion
